The only way to install posts for an 8’ tall fence in oklahoma!
We drive 10.5"‘ posts on 8’ centers and install 9’ posts in between the 10.5 footers so that there is a post every 4 feet. We drive each post 42 inches into the ground. We have not had an 8’ fence blow down in the Oklahoma wind since we started installing our fences this way.
